Our farm is located on 32 acres just outside of Syracuse, NY and borders the Cicero Swamp Wildlife Management Area, which is home to the endangered Eastern Massasauga Rattlesnake (hence our name). We started with 9 female Huacaya's purchased at an auction in October 2015 and at one time grew our herd to around close to 30 animals. Our current herd stands at 7 quality animals. Our main goals are to breed for color while improving the quality of the fiber and conformation with each successive breeding. We still have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but plan on enjoying the ride along the way! Contact us if you are interested in any of our animals or would like to stop by for a visit.
The diverse genetics of our herd is only getting better with each successive generation. We strive to create not only superior fleece and conformation, but also provide daily interaction with the animals, producing calmer personalities. Our Alpacas are the total package!
